Our socialization activities
Community Meals

We participate in the university orientation week by organizing barbecues, allowing international students to interact with the local community and begin forming connections that will support their socialization throughout their studies.
To promote the integration of these students into student life, we arrange community meals in collaboration with other student associations and provide material and financial support for student activities.
Recreational games
We organize engaging activities aimed at providing international students with an opportunity to learn more about their peers and their new environment even before their immigration. These activities include group discussions that encourage exchanges and the sharing of experiences, creating a space for mutual understanding. Additionally, we arrange interactive games such as the 'human knot' to foster cooperation and teamwork, the 'perfect square' to enhance non-verbal communication, and games like 'truths and lies' to stimulate personality discovery. 'Blind drawing' is a playful activity that allows students to build confidence and break the ice, thus promoting friendly relationships and lasting bonds.

In tandem with these activities, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment by encouraging the participation of all students, thereby fostering a harmonious social dynamic. These activities are not just moments of entertainment but also contribute to laying a solid foundation for positive intercultural relationships, reinforcing the sense of belonging for international students from the moment they arrive.
Conferences on Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue

We assist students who wish to continue practicing their religious faith in finding places of worship that align with their beliefs.
We encourage students, regardless of their religious affiliation, to engage in inter-religious and multidisciplinary dialogue and activities that are essential (i) for understanding and respecting each other's religious beliefs and (ii) for combating religious extremism and terrorism.
Trips and Excursions
Participating in our organized trips and excursions, international students have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse cultural tapestry of Canada. These journeys are carefully curated to showcase not only the country's picturesque tourist destinations but also to provide insights into the rich and vibrant lifestyles of indigenous communities. Through these experiences, students gain a deeper understanding of the historical narratives that have shaped the nation, fostering cultural awareness and appreciation.

Our commitment goes beyond mere exploration; we aim to foster meaningful connections and promote cultural exchange. By delving into the histories of indigenous populations during these excursions, international students not only witness the beauty of Canada but also engage in a journey of understanding, forging connections that transcend borders and enrich their overall educational experience.
Soccer and Volleyball Tournaments

A significant majority of international students come from countries where sports such as soccer and volleyball are widely popular. In order to enable these students to continue engaging in their favorite sports, we collaborate with student associations to co-organize soccer and indoor soccer tournaments, as well as beach volleyball tournaments.
