Governance
The Board of Directors (B.O.D) of Living and Working Together sets the major strategic directions of the organization and oversees their implementation. The directors benefit from the advice and expertise of various scientific working groups, focal points, and committees. Board members come from various backgrounds, including health, international development, the private sector, and civil society.

Alida Tchouanmou Fagang, M. Sc.
Chairperson of the Board of Directors
Ms. Fagang holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada, and a Certificate in Administration. She has several years of experience as a quality analyst in various companies both abroad and in Canada.
Her involvement with the organization Living and Working Together began during her years of study at the University of Sherbrooke. The well-being of students and individuals seeking knowledge is one of the causes that underlies her motivation to engage in community action. As a volunteer, she had facilitated several events organized by our organization during its early years of operation at the Université de Sherbrooke.
Djibrillou Moussa, M. Sc
Treasurer
Mr. Moussa holds a Master's degree (Diplôme d’études approfondies - DEA) obtained from the University of Sfax, Tunisia, and a Master's in Economics from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada.
Mr. Moussa is recognized as an expert in the field of economics and finance. He has served as a Technical Advisor and Head of the Social Development Unit at the Office of the Prime Minister of Niger. In Canada, Djibrillou worked as a sales supervisor at Bell Canada..
He is also highly involved in community development and dedicates his leisure time to assisting immigrants in better integrating socially and professionally..


Jérémie Désiré Richard Betjol, M. Sc.
Administrator
Graduated with a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada. Jérémie has been involved with the organization 'Vivre et Œuvrer Ensemble' for several years. He is also passionate about supporting students in their academic success and professional integration.
Alain Enua mbandi, M. Sc.
Secretary General
A resident of La Sarre (Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec), he is an economist by training with Quebecois experience in the engineering field (electrical engineering, public works, mining).
After completing his secondary studies, he left his home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for Morocco, where he completed undergraduate studies in electrical engineering.
Upon arriving in Canada in 2006, he pursued post-secondary studies. He holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Sherbrooke and a technical degree in mineral technology from CEGEP de Thetford Mines. As an impact assessor for development projects and programs, he is part of consulting teams for several non-profit organizations in the fields of health, community integration, and educational support.
After several years of professional experience in the telecommunications and marketing field as a consultant, he worked in higher education as a teaching assistant at the University of Sherbrooke. In the engineering field, he worked as a technician in the Public Works and Engineering Department in the municipality of Adstock and recently as a mining technician at the Casa Berardi mine (Hecla Mining). Currently, he holds the position of Planning, Programming, and Research Agent (APPR) at the Public Health Directorate of the CISSS de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue.


Tchuani Jiembou Carno, Ph.D
Founder, adminstrator
Mr. Tchuani holds a Ph.D. in development economics. He worked as a Research Officer at the Ministry of Economy and Spatial Planning in Cameroon for over 7 years.
Subsequently, he served for 5 years as the Head of Planning and Monitoring-Evaluation Unit at the National Committee to Fight AIDS in Cameroon. In this role, Carno oversaw the implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention programs and programs for the care of orphans and vulnerable children in the Littoral province.
He also worked in the research department of the French Development Agency before taking on the role of Coordinator of Health Information Systems at the NGO Solidarité thérapeutique et initiative pour la santé. Driven by a passion for humanitarian action and international development, he decided to establish the organization 'Vivre et Œuvrer Ensemble' in 2016 to facilitate the socio-professional integration of international students and also to provide them with opportunities for international collaboration.
